Kat Janzon, our 2015 Swedish exchange student made a return visit to Wollundry on Tuesday and brought along her mother Christina.  Pictured above are Christina Janzon, Kat, Cathy Pyke and President Paul Milde.

Kat came to the podium and said hello and introduced her mother Christine who addressed the members.  Christine thanked Wollundry Rotary for Kat's exchange and for being welcoming and Kat felt that she had 60 plus fathers in Wagga.  Christine spoke of the importance of Youth Exchange, how it cuts down barriers and helps with communication between people.

Christine's older daughter went to China on an exchange and Christine felt that both of her daughters were very lucky to have had this experience.  Christine said the night before Kat left for Australia, she said " I don't want to go" and when her exchange in Wagga was over, she called her mother and said " I don't want to leave"!

In conclusion, Christine said she had sent a teenager on exchange and a young lady returned.  Christine and Kat presented President Paul Milde with a Swedish flag.
